Project Linus Blanket Making Day
April 26 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Can you crochet or tie knots? Save the date for April 26th (LYS Day) to join us making blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus is a non-profit organization that has a two-fold mission:
First, to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “Blanketeers.”
Second, it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children. Through the donations of new, handmade blankets and afghans, we are able to bring a little comfort, a little warmth and love to a child in need.
Project Linus Blanket Day will be held on the 26th of April at Wyoming Yarn and Fiber. Anyone who has basic crochet skills is invited to join in the fun anytime between 1-3pm on the 26th. Community involvement is vital to the success of this event, and it is hoped that as many people as possible will come and help make these blankets.
For all participants please consider bringing crochet hooks any size E-H, though we will have some on hand. (If you can’t crochet we will have some knotted blanket options to make up as well.)
